Last year our Year 5s and 6s took part in a national competition in which they had to write a 100 word story that was based on a historical event.
We had some incredible entries ranging from World War One stories to stories about aliens creating Stonehenge! Incredibly, 22 of our pupils won the competition and are now published in the book, ‘Ancient Adventures: Days Long Gone’.
This is an amazing achievement and everyone at New City is incredibly proud of them!
