Our Nursery children found out about how Muslims celebrate Eid. The word Eid means ‘feast’ or ‘festival’ and comes at the end of the holy month of Ramadan, a time of fasting.
Children found out that the breakfast of Eid-ul-Fitr, the first Eid of the year, is made of sweet dishes and tea. Children also found out about tea making, the holy book the Quran, mehndi and how Eid is celebrated at the mosque.
