This week Monega pupils have been taking part in a sustainability challenge. This was to celebrate World Environment Day. It is an important time to appreciate the world we live in. During this time, people think about how they can protect and look after the environment in different ways. The message of this week is that even the smallest of changes can have a huge impact in the world that we live in. The children took part in a range of activities such as planting trees, picking up litter in the local area, swapping plastic bottles for reusable ones and our school dinners featured a meat free Monday. Some children even carried out eco-friendly tasks at home! Huge well done to all who got involved, the world is a better place thanks to you!
