As part of their ‘All About Me’ topic in the ‘Understand of the World’ strand of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, the children of Reception went on a visit around their local area. Children went on a walk to Plaistow Park identifying key landmarks along the way such as the Fire Station, Tesco and the Greenway. They enjoyed their trip and wrote about it the next day in English.
