In year 5, pupils read Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by J K Rowling. Whilst studying this novel we explored the plot, characterisation and settings.
It explores how Harry overcomes his difficulties and learns to become part of the exciting wizarding world, along with his two best friends Hermione and Ron.
